Dry Kids Fleece Lined Dungarees

We was recently sent the fleece lined dungarees by Dry Kids, they are waterproof over trousers which are perfect for jumping in puddles, rainy days or just general exploring. Being where we live these type of trousers are a must for us, we are surrounded by beaches and countryside and these trousers suit both. They are £17.95 and come in 4 vibrant colours, pink, navy, turquoise and yellow which is what we picked, if anything is going to cheer up a dull rainy day then its the brightest yellow trousers! Not only do they come in lovely colours but you can also have the option of having them unlined or fleece lined, we got fleece lined ones which are perfect for our adventures. So over the weekend we decided to put them to the test...

Isla went exploring out on the sand banks, jumping and running in the shallow pools of water, picking up stones and sea weed and generally enjoying what she loves to do at the beach. I had no worries at all that she would get wet, cold or get her trousers underneath dirty. She seemed to enjoy having a lot more freedom instead of me telling her to ease off with the jumping in the water, as she doesn't like being cold at all, she takes after me!

On the left leg of the trousers features the Dry Kids logo and also reflective strips on both legs which is handy for late afternoon walks home in the rain, especially when we are on busy roads during the winter. They also have elastic ankle straps which can be worn either inside or outside of wellies to help prevent the legs from riding up and again make them a bit more secure for jumping in those puddles - nobody likes soggy cold feet and socks!

They have adjustable elastic shoulder straps, which are secured with buckles making them easy to get on and off, there are also poppers on each side so you can make them waist adjustable too! These are so handy for getting the ideal fit, and again for making them more warm. We got Isla age 3-4, she turned 3 in December and I can see these lasting well into next year. We have the shoulder straps on the tightest setting and we also crossed them over on the back as they kept sliding off her shoulders. After we did that they fit perfectly, there was plenty of room underneath for her clothes too so she was nice and cosy.

We are so happy with them and happy to recommend them, I'll definitely be purchasing Archie a pair too when he gets a bit older - sizes start from age 2. Definitely check out the Dry Kids website for more affordable outdoor wear for children, I am already eyeing up the puddle suits for Isla and Archie as a thinner alternative for the summer months to keep in the back of the car.

  2. Ah love these! They look good and I like the idea of dungarees rather than full body ones as these would work better in hot (but wet!) weather. Cute pictures too! #triedtested

    1. Yes even with a tshirt for warmer days, at least she can still explore. The sea can be chilly. Thank You :) x

  4. These look great! Toby has some waterproof dungarees but I think he might be close to growing out of them so I'll definitely have a look a Dry Kids when we're needing some new ones. #TriedTested
