Make My Day Bib | Monkey

Baby led weaning is messy to say the least, but now Archie is 17 months old he has got the knack of eating without making much mess and he can use a fork and spoon as well. But the biggest problem we still have is with food being dropped, sometimes it will fall off his cutlery or he just shoves so much in his mouth that some falls out and then drops down on to his clothes. We could easily change him up to 2 times a day where his outfit just gets ruined from food and drink. Over the years I have tried many bibs, ones that claim to catch the food but half of them the catcher is pressed so tight to the bib that it doesn't actually catch a single bit of food. We have been trying out the Make My Day Monkey bib the past few weeks and can say it gets a huge thumbs up from us! Not only do they come in 16 cute designs, the quality of them are to a high standard, the bib feels so soft to touch thanks to the food grade silicone material and its nice and flexible, you can also wash them so quick and easily in the sink and I found it also dried pretty quickly too, or even better its dishwasher safe!

The bib as 4 adjustable size positions meaning this bib will last from 6 months to 3 years, so you'll get plenty of use out of it, and thanks to the anti stain it means its will still look as good as new after many uses. These bibs are BPA free, PVC free and phthalate free so nice and safe for your little ones too. I love that it can be rolled up and you can store cutlery in the catcher bit so its ready to go when on the go and will fit neatly into your nappy bag, you can also secure it once its been rolled up so if you need to move it in the bag it wont all come undone like others that I have tried.

As you can see the catcher is a good enough distance away from the bib to catch food, and it also catches drink, Archie has a habit of drinking water and then spitting it out down him, but thanks to this bib he doesn't get wet and the water all catches in the bib, then once I take it off I can easily tip the food/water out into the bin. The bibs are £14.99 each and available to buy from Cheeky Rascals. They are a bit on the pricey side, but I would rather pay more and be happy with the products instead of wasting money from trying out different brands that are no match to this one! Archie loves it, he loves the monkey and always gets excited when I get it out the drawer for him to wear, well he's probably more excited about the food to be fair. I just love the bib and wouldn't look elsewhere now, I highly recommend it and for £14.99 you have a bib that will last 2 1/2 years!

  2. How cute! We always had the ones with sleeves for BLW which kept him much cleaner but he did quite enjoy using one like this at nana and grandad's house. Mainly because he liked putting food in the pouch then taking it back out. Funny child! haha!! Love the little monkey design!!
